CMP Information, the organizers of Seatrade Cruise Shipping Convention in association with Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), is pleased to announce the inclusion of a special travel agent educational program at this year’s event. On offer are two high energy and informative educational sessions produced and delivered by CLIA trainers aimed at increasing your knowledge and productivity in this fast moving business. In addition, the timetable allows for plenty of time to visit one of the largest trade exhibitions in the world, focused on the cruise industry. The Travel Agent Day, at no cost to you, gives you an outstanding opportunity to sharpen your skills in this booming industry. To register please follow the instructions below.

TRADE SHOW VIEWING TIME

With more than 330,000 square feet of exhibit space and almost 1,000 exhibiting companies, Seatrade Cruise Shipping Convention is the largest annual gathering in the industry. The trade show floor is segmented by eight product sectors to help you navigate through this exciting exhibition. A large portion of the trade show is made up of National Tourism Boards and Destinations from around the world, which will be of great interest to travel agents.

PROFESSIONAL SELLING SKILLS

Geared toward the front-line counsellor who has experience but wants to sharpen their sales skills, the seminar will enable participants to: recognize the five essential steps of the sale, qualify a client, overcome the most common barriers to the cruise sale, add value to every sale and employ strategies to get and keep the business.

BUILDING CLIENT LOYALTY

Tom Cogan, MCC, CTC - Director of Training

This program will show you how to read your customers and sell from their perspective. Participants learn how to uncover hidden client needs, apply quality service, and reinforce client loyalty. You will learn the ten fundamentals to building and maintaining client loyalty in today's world.
