CELEBRATING 20 YEARS

The 2004 edition of the Seatrade Cruise Shipping Convention marks the annual event's 20th year. Like the cruise industry, the world's largest cruise business convention has grown phenomenally over the past two decades. From a small gathering of 150 cruise industry players in a New York hotel in 1985, the event has grown to encompass a four-day conference covering all aspects of the cruise industry and a three-day exhibition that covers three halls of the Miami Beach Convention Center. More than a thousand companies exhibit in the trade show and over 9,000 people visit during "Seatrade Week," coming from more than 100 countries across the globe.
